This rest area, located near the Fort Coulonge municipal wharf, was set up by the municipality in the fall of 2024. Vast and beautifully landscaped, it's a great place to enjoy a superb view of the Coulonge River. It is also possible to spend the night here, as it is part of the Route 148 RV rest area circuit. A stop on the allée des manoirs is a must.

Note RV Stop: This stop accepts all types of vehicles. First come, first served. There are large grassy areas, trees and picnic tables. Nearby, there's a children's playground, Café Downtown restaurant and Bowers Freshmart Market. Good to know: The rest area will feature a dump station and access to drinking water in the near future. There are no toilets.
